Workmate 79-001 Accessories

Saw Table WM140 and WM141

Picture
The Saw Table WM140 and WM141 mount a hand-held circular saw upside down to the Workmate, to act as a small table saw. As they describe it: " A Saw Table which fits easily to your Workmate and accepts any Black & Decker home user circular saw or saw attachment." The Saw Table includes mitre guide, large and small rip fences, screws, and fixing brackets.

The WM140 was a UK-market accessory introduced in October 1974 for the Workmate WM225, WM325, and WM525. It was never sold in the U.S. but it should fit the 79-001 and other full-size North American Workmates just fine. The WM141 replaced it in about 1983. The only difference that I know of between the two is that the WM141 dropped the larger of the two rip fences that was included with the WM140. Instruction manuals for the WM140 and the WM141, as well as other Black & Decker publications about them, are available on the
Documents page.

I have no personal experience with the WM140, having only seen a few of them in photos.
