Wallmate FB1
During and before the 1974-1982 period when the Workmate 79-001 was produced for North America in Brockville, Ontario, Workmates were also being produced in the United Kingdom. Although obviously related to each other, the UK and North American Workmates have significant differences, starting with the model numbers, and don't share any parts.

Since starting this site in 2020 I have had numerous visitors from outside the U.S. looking for information about the UK models, because no one has documented those models in the way I have documented the 79-001. To fill this information gap for Workmate owners in other countries, I'm now devoting some space to the early UK Workmates. Seven of t
hese are presented in the pages linked at the left.

Disclaimer: I don't have personal access to the UK models, so my documentation of them will never be as complete as what I've done for the 79-001. The photographs in this section are not my own, but were mostly contributed by owners, with some simply collected by me from the web. If you have more information to contribute about the UK models, or know of another related Workmate from this era (1974-82) that you think belongs here, please contact me.
